The rate is $37 per hour for one-on-one sessions. This reflects individualized attention, customized instruction, and preparation.
Spanish Foundations — Where do tutoring sessions take place?
Sessions are held in a public location in Monument or another mutually convenient public space. This keeps the environment comfortable, neutral, and focused.
Spanish Foundations — How is tutoring different from the group class?
Tutoring is personalized, flexible, tailored to your goals, paced to your needs, and focused on specific skills or challenges.
The group class is structured, collaborative, and designed for 8–10 learners working through the same curriculum.
Spanish Foundations — Do I need tutoring to participate in the group class?
No. Tutoring is completely optional. Many learners use it to strengthen particular skills, prepare for a future group session, or get extra practice between classes.
Spanish Foundations — How long is a tutoring session?
Most sessions are 60 minutes. 90-minute sessions are available upon request.
Spanish Foundations — How often can I schedule tutoring?
You can schedule one-time sessions, occasional check-ins, or weekly/biweekly support — based on your goals and availability.

Common areas include pronunciation, grammar support, conversation practice, confidence building, review of Foundations material,
preparation for travel, and strengthening weak areas.
Do you offer tutoring besides Spanish Foundations?
Yes. In addition to Spanish, I offer tutoring and coaching in language acquisition (including English/French/Italian where applicable),
academic subjects (reading, writing, literature, history, science, and more), and practical business/tech support.
What ages/levels do you work with?
I work with teens and adults, from true beginner to advanced, depending on the subject. If you tell me your goals and current level,
I’ll recommend the best approach and pacing.
Can you help with pronunciation and confidence speaking?
Absolutely. We can build confidence with guided conversation, targeted pronunciation drills, and practical “real life” speaking scenarios
(travel, work, interviews, presentations, or everyday conversations).
Do you offer remote tutoring (Zoom/Teams/WebEx)?
Yes. Remote sessions are available and work well for conversation practice, writing support, exam prep, and software training.
You’ll just need a stable internet connection, microphone, and (ideally) a camera.
Can you help with academic writing, proofreading, and study skills?
Yes. I can help with structure, clarity, grammar, citations (as needed), research organization, reading comprehension,
and study strategies that make learning efficient and less stressful.
Do you offer business software / tech tutoring?
Yes. I can help with practical computer skills and common tools (for example: productivity workflows, spreadsheets, presentations,
email/calendar basics, and other business software coaching). Tell me what you use and what you need to accomplish.
What payment methods do you accept?
After registration, I’ll send an invoice. Payment options typically include Square (credit card fees may apply),
EFT transfer, or Zelle (depending on your preference and what’s available).
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
If you need to reschedule, please give as much notice as possible. A simple, fair standard is: reschedule with 24 hours’ notice when you can.
